Most of the “big-time” summer movies so far this year can be derided in one non-complete sentence that sums everything up.
To wit:
Wolverine: bloated, pointless, and stupid
Fast and Furious: lifeless, with too much CG and not enough actual car racing
Transformers: check your brain, and possibly self-esteem, at the door
The Hangover: funny at times, but it’s never [...]

It is much worse than the Pam and Tommy video.  Worse than the Paris Hilton one.
